Studio Apartment

Pricey for old style apartments but good location Positive: Location was great and size of apartment although wasted as I was solo. Negative: Nobody at reception - instructions to get to my room in the dark (very poor lighting outside) were not clear. Quite expensive for a tired motel-like room. Time for a bathroom makeover but in saying all of that, it was clean & comfortable.

Awesome, looking forward to returning Positive: Spacious and comfortable and convenient to Hagley park and Christchurch city centre. We’re so pleased that we booked in for the last days of our holiday as well and looking forward to returning to this lovely place Negative: Nothing

Great location, you get what you pay for in this town. And it's expensive. Positive: Location is awesome. Shower, the water was hot, but pressure is low. Toilet looks new. Best breakfast was at Bespoke and the dinner at Jervious was one of the best meals I've had in NZ in a long time, including the service. Negative: Room 101 is right on the street and gets noisy from about 5am with rubbish trucks and tour buses. The gap under the front door means the rain and cold come in, suggest putting a towel across it. the airconditioning takes around 24 hours to warm the room, so the second night things will be comfortable, but there were three thin blankets you can put on the bed the first night to stay warm. Its been a long time since I have slept on a matress that you can feel every spring. the stains on the couches are remarkable.

Positive: Right in town, warm, very roomy, comfortable & very good value for $ much better then the 3 star rating the property was given. Stayed x3 nights Negative: Key was a bit tricky for the door lock. Towels were changed daily, which is unnessary, could be left with same for a more greener
